From 3 & 4 trip to British Museum
22/02/2012
Pupils from Forms 3 and 4 visited the British museum in London. This visit was to reinforce learning from this year’s History topic of Ancient Greece as well as from the study of Ancient Egypt in Year Two.
This is what some of the pupils said about their day:
Jusha: It was good. I saw things I haven’t seen before.
Nathalia: The museum was fantastic. All the carved things were really artistic. I had a wonderful day and I’m definitely going again.
Lizzie: I loved the museum. I think everything was amazing. I can’t believe I saw real mummies.
Zeineb: It was mysterious and cool. Dead people were there. There were loads of things to see.
Charlotte: It was really good and the Parthenon was best. I drew a centaur, a half man/half beast.
Patrick: I liked the ancient artefacts, but we had to walk a long way.
Sunny: I liked the tube ride the most and I enjoyed the whole trip.
Manisha: It was really exciting and fun. I liked all the things in the museum. My favourite bit was sketching and my favourite journey was the train.
Leo: It was good, but I was really hungry. I liked the museum best and the dead bones.
Aneesur: I liked the museum. The best bit was drawing, the bones and the centaur strangling the man.
