Welcome to the News and Events pages of the Gregg & St Winifred's Schools Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA), which supports The Gregg School and St Winifred’s School.
In 2010, we voted to set up two separate sub-groups of the PTFA to cater for the very different needs of parents of primary and secondary age children, so FROGS (Friends of the Gregg School) and "Winifriends" were born.
Anyone is welcome to attend any event, whichever school your child attends and we hope to welcome you to an event soon.
Our object is to advance the education of pupils in both The Gregg School and St Winifred's School by:
- developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the schools; and
- engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment that support the Schools and advance the education of the pupils.
The PTFA organises a number of fund-raising events throughout the year, and has funded the purchase of a large range of equipment for both Schools.
The Gregg and St Winifred's Schools PTFA is a registered charity - number 1088756 and a member of the NCPTA.
The Gregg and St Winifred's Schools Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
