Life at The Gregg is never dull!
A whole host of opportunities exist for students to get involved in extra-curricular activities, which enhance their educational experience in so many ways.
From our programme of charity fund-raising and community events to activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, students of all ages and abilities can discover hidden talents, build on existing skills and engage in activities which develop confidence and enhance self-esteem, which will prove invaluable as they progress through life.
Everyone joins in - and all year groups have the opportunity to engage with those younger and older than themselves. Our School Council gives students the opportunity to have their opinions heard - we do take notice and a significant number of changes have been implemented as a result of staff listening to the "Student Voice".
Our House system provides the chance for students to display their talents in over 40 House events during the year, ranging from sporting contests to music competitions, cake-baking, and of course the hugely popular House Dance and House Quiz competitions.
Many Gregg students have discovered a hidden talent in themselves through their experiences outside the classroom. Because we are a small school, everyone gets the chance to play on a team or be given a part in a play - it's great when students try something they had never dreamed of doing and find they have really enjoyed themselves and are actually rather good at it!
